i have solve the problem thank you so much
by replacing
iTextSharp.text.Image img = iTextSharp.text.pdf.codec.TiffImage.GetTiffImage(rfa, 1);
by
iTextSharp.text.Image img = iTextSharp.text.Image.GetInstance(ImageData);

I download embDocumentInhalator and I added and deployed it in a solution in my farme. I installed a scanner Hp Scanjet N6010 in the server host my app.
My issue is when I clicked on Select a Scanner I got an error message : Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object.
Can someone help me to resolve this issue.

me too. hit the same error with nourf.. click scanner button and no action at all. showing the error message:

I am using windows server 2008 R2 (SharePoint Web Server). What i know that Windows server 2008 R2 doesn;t have WIA Device manager. Please advice.

It seems like one of the files is missing "embDocInhalatorWebPartSandboxed.webpart". And I can't use the code without it.

Please try choosing alternative color modes. I am working on a new version currently, and I am fixing this issues and several other issues. I appreciate, that you have downloaded the WebPart and you are trying to use it, thank you. One important thing I like to ask you for is, please make suggestions for the next release. Hi,

Yes, it scans from scanners directly attached to the server. Scanning from client scanners is not possible at the moment. I am working on a new release of this software, to create a complete Micro-DMS (Document Managment System) based on SharePoint. you said that this application used to scan documents from scanners attached directly to the server, do you mean that the scanner should be connected to the server only , or can i scan document from scanner installed on the clients PCs?

Project Description
embDocumentInhalator makes it possible for SharePoint 2010 users to scan documents from scanners attached directly to the server. For developers it may help to see the relationship between the individual components required.

Common features:

Select scanner (Serverside attached scanners, that support the WIA scanning interface http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_Image_Acquisition
Choose library to scan to
Choose image format (GIF,JPEG,PNG,TIFF,BMP...)
Scan to PDF
Edit metadata of scanned document
